In response to a recent blog post by American musician, John Mayer, John Piper posted on his blog today about why and how he uses Twitter. it's an outstanding read - one I think anyone who is skeptical of social media should read. I love lines like:
"Tweeting is to preaching what the book of Proverbs is to the book of Romans."

"I love words. I rarely think of them as efficient, but as precious."
